Alex originally trained as an architect in London at University of Westminster and University College London, completing his BA as best of year and his diploma with technical distinction. In the past, Alex has worked on high profile architectural projects in Moscow, Dubai, Mumbai and London and collaborated on projects with companies such as Candy&Candy and Zaha Hadid Architects. Alex has been published in Blueprint Magazine, Architectural Design (Wiley) and Building Design amongst others.
In his art work Alex engages with what technology means to us and how it changes our perception of the world we live in. It can be described as a fantastical portraiture of today’s technological society geared towards saturation of desire and control of nature.
Despite working with abstracted realities, Alex still operates in an architectural manner; developing briefs and programs, resolving details and reworking the creative idea until it is a cohesive project. The first edition of the AgriBot series was acquired by Home House Club in London where they have joined the infamous Bar by Zaha Hadid Architects.
