Agnese Sanvito studied Fine Arts in Bologna before moving to London where she currently lives and works.

Documenting elaborate projects and unusual spaces for some of the world’s leading architectural practices and structural engineers, Agnese celebrates the magnificence of the city, often focussing on its underlying fragility and solitude. Her photographs enhance the geometric patterns of buildings in striking tones with an acute awareness of natural light’s movement.

Agnese’s photographs have been widely published and are often seen on the front cover of leading architectural journals. Selected awards include the ‘Thames 21 Prize’ at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich and ‘My East End’ judged by Martin Parr. Her 2014 solo exhibition at The Building Centre ‘Absorb/Reflect/Scatter focused on the way colour shapes out sense of buildings.
