Saturday 18 November is the last day of Nasty Women : Architecture. The exhibition, as featured in the Royal Academy’s top 10 exhibitions to see this month, brings together a select group of female artists and architects that have looked to the built environment and space around them for their inspiration. A closing event on 18 November will include an ‘in conversation’ with featured artist Frances Richardson (winner of the SOLO Award 2017 and Mark Tanner Sculpture Award 2017-8) and Dr Harriet Harriss (Interior Design and Architecture, Royal College of Art) at 5.30pm.
Prior to the talk there will be the chance to explore the exhibition in the presence of some of the artists and enjoy a drink or two!
The Nasty Women arts movement aims to raise awareness and funds to help support women’s rights. 1/3 from all sales of artwork sold during Nasty Women Architecture will go directly to the work of Rape Crisis South London. Art work can be viewed here
